General Guidelines for Poster Presentation
  • Title: 24 pt | Headings: 20–18 pt | Body text: 18–16 pt
  • Use clear fonts and 2–3 consistent contrasting colours
  • Use numbering or arrows to guide readers
  • Do not overcrowd content
  • Use short sentences and bullet points instead of paragraphs
  • Highlight key numbers, statistics, and findings (bold/coloured)
  • Prefer graphs and visuals over large tables
  • All figures/images must be high resolution with legends/captions
  • Poster should include:
    • Title & Authors (large bold font, affiliations)
    • Introduction / Background (brief context, novelty, research question)
    • Study Objectives (1–2 points)
    • Hypothesis (1–2 points)
    • Study Design & Methodology (flowcharts/diagrams preferred)
    • Results (key findings with visuals, no clutter)
    • Conclusion (2–3 take-home messages)
    • Acknowledgements & References (minimal, 2–3 if essential)
Guidelines for Paper Presentations
  • Free Paper & Pramada-Infection Control: 5 min (4 + 1 discussion)
  • Dr. C.S. Bhaskaran Award: 15 min (12 + 3 discussion)
  • Senior/Junior Faculty : 10 min (8 + 2 discussion)
  • Krishna Rao Memorial: 8 min (6 + 2 discussion)
  • Keep slides minimal, clean, and visual
  • Use ≤ 6 lines per slide, ≤ 6 words per line
  • Use font size ≥ 24 pt; highlight keywords with bold/colour
  • Prefer graphs, flowcharts, and images instead of text
  • Slide sequence should be:
    • Title Slide (title, authors, affiliations, collaborators)
    • Introduction & Background (context, significance, knowledge gap)
    • Objectives & Hypothesis (concise, 1–2 points each)
    • Study Design & Methodology (design, sample size, flow diagrams)
    • Results (key findings only, with graphs/tables)
    • Discussion (Prize papers only – interpretation, outcomes)
    • Conclusion (2–3 points, clinical/research implications)
    • Acknowledgements & References (funding bodies, max 5 references)

    • Oral/Free Paper → PPT/PPTX (Oral Template)
    • Incorrect templates will not be accepted
  • Submission Format: Oral – PPT/PPTX | Poster – PPT/PPTX
  • Submit at: Submission Link
  • Deadline: September 19, 2025, 5:00 PM (IST)
  • Late submissions will be disqualified. Only the first version will be accepted (no revisions)
