Eligibility Criteria
  • Conference registration is mandatory for all presenters.
  • Abstracts should be original and must not have been published or presented previously.
Membership Requirements
  • Prize Paper Presenters: Must be a member of both the IAMM National and TAPC State Chapters.
  • Free Paper Presenters (Oral/Poster): Must be a member of the IAMM TAPC State Chapter.
Submission Instructions
  • Last date for submission: June 30, 2025
Formatting Guidelines
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Alignment: Justified | Spacing: Double
  • Word Limit: Not to exceed 300 words
  • Define all abbreviations and acronyms clearly
  • Use the structured format below
Structured Abstract Format
  • Category: Oral / Poster / Free Paper / Prize
  • Section: Bacteriology / Virology / Mycobacteriology / Mycology / Parasitology / Infection Control
  • Study Title
  • Authors and Affiliations
  • Aim and Objectives
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • Keywords (3–5)
Review and Selection
  • Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
  • Selection will be based on review. Committee’s decision is final.
  • Presenting authors will be informed via email.
  • Only presenting authors will receive certificates.
Publication

All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference souvenir.

Prize Paper Sessions
  • Submit both Abstract and Full Text Manuscript via the same link.
  • Mark the specific Prize category clearly on your submission.
  • Unmarked entries go to free Oral/Poster sessions by default.
  • Dr. C.S. Bhaskaran Prize: Full Text submission is mandatory.
  • Deadline for prize paper/paper/poster : June 30, 2025

Four papers will be shortlisted for the Dr. C. S. Bhaskaran Award.

  • Smt B.S. Laxmi – Junior Faculty Awards
  • B. Krishna Rao – PG Prize Papers

Additional Prizes
  • GIMSR Prize – Best paper under Mycobacteriology section
  • Sri. N. Venkata Siva Pramatha Memorial – Best paper under Infection Control section
  • Gandhi Medical College Award – Best paper
  • Sri. ISN Murthy Prize – For posters for PGs

  • Note
    • Full-text papers must be submitted for consideration under the Dr. C. S. Bhaskaran Award category.
    • Papers not shortlisted under prize categories may be reclassified as free papers or posters at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.
    • Shortlisting of prize papers will be carried out by the Scientific Committee in consultation with a panel of judges.
    • The decision of the Scientific Committee is final and cannot be contested.
